US Department of Transportation Approves $2.9BN for Infrastructure Projects
Through three discretionary grant programs, the US department of Transportation offers $2.9BN for infrastructure projects.
According to the International Railway Journal, the USDOT made a statement saying, “Combining three major discretionary grant programs into one multimodal projects discretionary grant opportunity reduces the burden for state and local applicants, and increases the pipeline of ‘shovel-worthy’ projects that are now possible because of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.”
Eligible projects can include highway, bridge, freight, port, passenger rail, and public transport schemes.
