Union and Fort Gay receive $1,950,000 in funding for water and wastewater projects

More than 100 Monroe County residents will benefit from a new waterline extension and a water storage tank being constructed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington District, U.S. Rep. Evan Jenkins, R-W.Va. announced Wednesday. The communities of Union in Monroe County and Fort Gay in Wayne County will receive $1,950,000 in federal funding for two water and wastewater projects from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jenkins said.
