UDOT to Repave Legacy Parkway This Summer

Every night throughout the summer, the highway from 500 South in Bountiful to the I-15 ramps in Farmington will operate with one lane in each direction to facilitate ongoing construction. In addition to repaving, crews will be responsible for restriping the highway and installing new signs. Completion of the project is anticipated by the end of September.

According to UDOT, in addition to lane closures, drivers can expect shoulder closures and intermittent ramp closures throughout the summer on Legacy Parkway. To reduce delays and detours, only one ramp will be closed at any time. Drivers can expect 15 minute delays and may not drive vehicles or loads over 13 feet high through the area during work hours. All lane closures and restrictions will start as early as 6 p.m. and will reopen each morning in time for the commute.

Construction schedules are weather-dependent and subject to change. For the latest information on traffic restrictions during construction, visit the UDOT Traffic website or download the UDOT Traffic app for iPhone or Android.
