Trump didn’t say anything on climate, environment issues in State of the Union

Absent from President Trump’s first State of the Union address were two major, intertwined issues: climate change and the environment. He never said the word “climate,” nor did he mention the environment once. The closest Trump came to touching on either issue was when he talked about energy. This continues a pattern of ultra-conservative views on the environment and climate change by Trump and his administration, despite many people in the federal government contradicting the president and his peers.
