Shell Plans to Phase Out Traditional Carbon-Powered Sources by 2070

Royal Dutch Shell introduced a document Shell Scenarios Sky that reads the consumption of coal-powered energy will diminish from 25 percent in 2020 to 6 percent in 2070. Shell outlined the ambitious Sky framework on 2015 Paris Climate Agreement and agree that the climate change is real. Sky lays out countless alternatives to reduce annual carbon emission to align with Paris agreement goal to hold rise in the global average temperature fairly below 2°C above pre-industrial levels. The Agreement states to formulate strategies to restrict the temperature increase to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.
