Rockingham County signs $10.9M allocation agreement for new water infrastructure

The Rockingham County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved an agreement with the North Carolina Office of State Budget and Management on Monday night that will improve, connect and expand water systems within Rockingham County. The $10.9 million agreement with the state is part of a $14.5 million allocation that covers water infrastructure improvements for southwest Rockingham County and northwest Guilford County – providing an interconnection and extension of water lines between the neighboring counties.
