Over the next five years, the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will complete numerous bridge and roadway projects across Indiana through their five-year construction project. The project is funded by Gov. Eric Holcomb’s Next Level Roads Plan, which, over the next 20 years, aims to maintain the state’s current infrastructure, finish the projects we have started and plan for the future. In the next five years alone, almost $5 billion will be invested in repairing and developing Indiana’s infrastructure. During that time, state residents will see more than 120 miles of new lanes, almost 10,000 miles of resurfaced lanes, and nearly 1,300 repaired or replaced bridges.
