According to The White House, today, President Biden is building on this progress by announcing bold new actions to further strengthen supply chains, lower costs for families, and help Americans get the goods they need, including:
- The creation of the Council on Supply Chain Resilience
- Use of the Defense Production Act to make more essential medicines in America and mitigate drug shortages
- New cross-governmental supply chain data-sharing capabilities
