A New Wave of Flood Control Projects Could be Pursued

The Fayetteville City Council approved a stormwater study that could lead the way for the city to allocate millions of dollars toward flood control efforts. The money for the upgrade may come out of homeowners’ pockets. An assessment last year showed the City of Fayetteville needs $20 million to get the flooding problem under control.
