Learning From Past U.S. Infrastructure Investments
The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act along with the CHIPS and Science Act, are two bipartisan efforts that represent the largest U.S. infrastructure investment in nearly 70 years. According to the Council on Foreign Relations, these laws aim to modernize roads, public transit and digital infrastructure, while also strengthening domestic semiconductor production.
Although these new initiatives also promise to enhance national security and economic resilience, they also highlight the need for long-term bipartisan collaboration.
