Investing in Gallatin Valley’s green future

Communities across the American West are facing dramatic challenges in water resources management, and Bozeman is no exception. Downstream states seem to alternate between the worst drought on record and torrential downpours, while headwaters states like Montana are seeing hotter summers, inconsistent precipitation, growing populations and, above all else, more straws in the proverbial cup. Intense and erratic weather patterns endanger much of our natural infrastructure, while growing demand creates new pressure on planners to anticipate and create certainties in the increasingly uncertain and costly world of water resources management.
