Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act Will Eliminate Digital Divide
The $43 billion in federal broadband infrastructure funding will be used to ensure that everyone in America will have access to affordable broadband in the coming years.
According to a statement from National Telecommunications and Information Administration chief Alan Davidson at the Breakfast Broadband event, in order to truly eliminate the digital divide, state engagement and leadership was necessary to maximize federal funding. There’s a need for political leadership to be engaging and understand the importance of the IIJA.
