Grant Goes to Dover to Improve Transportation

Several members of New Hampshire’s Democratic Congressional delegation have announced a grant aimed at improving transportation networks in Dover. Sens. Jeanne Shaheen and Maggie Hassan and Rep. Carol Shea-Porter said the $649,000 grant will improve the city’s transportation infrastructure through the use of advanced technologies. Among other things, the grant will allow the city to implement a system that should improve the transportation networks efficiency and safety by improving data collection at the Central Avenue traffic stops.
