Governor of Kansas Announces More than $17M Investment for Energy Grid Resiliency

Kansas Governor Laura Kelly announced over $17 million in funding for energy grid resilience across 11 Kansas communities. According to the Office of the Governor, the investment includes nearly $12 million from the federal Bipartisan Infrastructure Law’s Grid Resilience Grant Program.

Projects include various upgrades and replacements such as substation hardening and transformer improvements.
