Biden-⁠Harris Administration Announces Additional Infrastructure Funding for Ports and Waterways

The Biden-Harris Administration will be investing more than $2.7 billion in funding for Army Corps projects. Such projects will focus on strengthening ports and waterways.

According to The White House, the funding will not only make them more resilient to climate change impacts, but strengthens supply chains, keeps goods moving through the economy, and enables the U.S. to compete… investing in ports helps to create resilient supply chains and create jobs.

Investments include the Upper Ohio River, Pennsylvania, the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System, Adams and Denver, Colorado and a project in Watsonville, California.
