EPA Announces Over $132M for Water Infrastructure in Pennsylvania
The EPA announced $6.2 billion in water infrastructure funding for Fiscal Year 2025, and it will be supported by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), according to a press release from the EPA. Of this, $132 million is allocated to Pennsylvania to upgrade wastewater systems, improve stormwater management, and modernize drinking water infrastructure. These investments will flow through the Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Funds, which provide low-interest loans for infrastructure projects.
