DOE Signs up 125+ Local Governments to Fast-Track Solar Permits
The Department of Energy announced that it reached its goal of registering 125+ communities for SolarAPP+.
The DOE successfully signed up over 125 communities to their Solar Automated Permit Processing (SolarAPP+) tool, a free, DOE-developed web-based platform allowing local governments to instantly approve residential solar installation permits according to CLean Technia. After hitting their summer goal, they have just announced that they will strive for 60 more by March 2022.
