DOE grants funds for energy projects in Louisiana. Why it will be important during hurricanes

The U.S. Department of Energy has allocated $249 million for energy infrastructure projects in Louisiana through the Federal Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. 

As reported by the Shreveport Times, the Hub for Energy Resilient Operations (HERO) program, aims to strengthen the state’s energy grid and enhance power access during severe weather events.
