County to allow developers to pay for infrastructure

Pottawatomie County Commissioners reached a consensus Monday to move toward an agreement to accept $1.1 million from two developers to help pave roads in Blue Township. The proposed agreement, if finalized, would open to development an estimated 800 residential building lots along Junietta and Moody roads in the southwest portion of the county. Developers Dave Nelson and Brandt Rudzinski have offered to pay $1.1 million toward the paving of one mile of roadway to expedite their proposed development projects. Proposed paving projects include Junietta (one-half mile east from the intersection of Green Valley Road) and Moody (one-half mile north from the intersection of Junietta).
