Congress Faces Big Week With Infrastructure Bill and Government Funding

As the Infrastructure bill is set to be voted on, lawmakers work to get deal done.

Congress is working hard to get this bill passed before they face a government shutdown. According to The Daily News, Biden, Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer are in negotiations over the president’s broader proposal, that’s being dialed back to win over key senators and a few House lawmakers who have so far refused the $3.5 trillion price tag and the tax increases on corporations and the wealthy to pay for it.
