Assistance and Donation Resources in Response to Los Angeles Wildfires

The American Public Works Association has provided a list of consolidated links directing individuals to donation and assistance resources in response to the Los Angeles wildfires.

On behalf of the American Public Works Association, we wish to express our deep sorrow and condolences to the families who have lost loved ones as well as their homes as a result of the ongoing Los Angeles wildfires. This is such a terrible tragedy. Despite this we know the residents of Los Angeles are resilient and the public works community stands ready to assist in any way we can once the fires have subsided. We have been in contact with both the public works director of Los Angeles County as well as the Los Angeles city engineer to lend our support. We will take their lead and assist in any way we can once they let us know their needs. We already know there will be a tremendous amount of work to restore calm and a sense of normalcy. We will band together as a community to assist.

We have been contacted by public works departments throughout North America asking what they can do to help. We will let you know as soon as we know how we can best assist in the restoration of the City of Los Angeles. Meanwhile, if you want to make donations or find out more information about the wildfire response please visit these sites:
