ADOT gets $26M federal grant to widen US 93 highway northwest of Valley

The Arizona Department of Transportation has secured a $26 million federal grant to expand US 93 into a four-lane divided highway northwest of Wickenburg. According to KTAR News, the funding is being provided through the DOT’s INFRA program.

The project will also feature a new roundabout, broadband conduit, wider shoulders and a pedestrian bridge over BNSF Railway tracks plus dedicated turn lanes.
