Two-phase I-90 project plans to reconnect wildlife, makes drive over pass safer

Wildlife on either side of Interstate 90 in the Cascades will soon be reconnected by updating the freeway and building over and underpasses. In a collaboration between the United States Forest Service (USFS), the United States Bureau of Reclamation (USBR), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW), Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection Agency and the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) the answer to how people could travel east to west while animals traveled north to south has been answered.
